Day 1: Guwahati to Shillong

Welcome to Awesome Assam by Morning Flight for your Shillong Tour Package. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station. Proceed to Shillong, also called ‘Scotland of the East”. Reach the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani). On arrival at Shillong, check-in at your hotel. Visit Ward’s Lake where you can enjoy Boating. Evening you can visit Police Bazaar which is the biggest local market. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2: Excursion to Krangsuri Waterfalls & Laitlum Canyons

After breakfast, we proceed to Krangsuri Falls. It is one of the best waterfalls in Meghalaya. You can also swim in a naturally formed pool here or do boating above the Krangsuri Falls. You can go behind the waterfall and see the water falling in front of you. Return early to reach Laitlum Canyons for its Breathless Canyon View by late noon. Evening return to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 3: Transfer to Cherrapunjee & Local Sightseeing

After breakfast transfer to Cherrapunjee. Enroute visit Elephant Waterfalls, Mawkdok Viewpoint, Kabakha Waterfalls, Nohkalikai Waterfalls Viewpoint, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sister Waterfalls Viewpoint & Eco Park. Evening return to Cherrapunjee. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.

Day 4: Excursion to Dawki & Mawlynnong Village

After breakfast visit Mawlynnong Village the cleanest village in India. This cute and colourful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Single Living Root Bridge at Riwar Village. Visit Dawki, which is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal-clear waters of the Umgnot River during winters. If only Friday/ Sunday then go to Tamabil (Indo Bangladesh Border). Evening return to Cherrapunjee. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.

Day 5: Tour Ends

After breakfast, today check out and proceed to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple or you can also visit Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra a place where Assamese history and culture are presented. Visit GTAC Tea Lounge to enjoy a cup of the finest Assam Tea and also carry some Tea back home. Here you will find the finest quality of Organic, CTC, Orthodox, Green Tea, White Tea, Purple Tea etc. Evening you may take a River Cruise (Direct Payment) on the mighty River Brahmaputra. You may also visit the local market. Assam is famous for Assam Silk particularly Golden Muga Silk, Assam Tea, Bamboo and Cane Products. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

After breakfast check out from the hotel. Transfer to Guwahati Airport with everlasting memories for onward journey.
