Day 1: Dimapur – Kohima (74 Kms/2.5 Hrs)

Meet a representative at Dimapur Airport and surface transfer to Kohima. Enroute visit some local stores and craft shop and stop for a cup of tea. On reaching Kohima, check in to your hotel. Have dinner and retire for the evening.

Day 2: Kohima

Today after breakfast, Visit local market, Kigwema and Kisama village. Drive to Khonoma. Picnic Lunch at the buffer zone of Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sanctuary, At Khonoma get to see ceremonial gates, cairn circles, age group houses, morungs and Mr G. H Damant memorial. Drive back to Kohima.

Day 3: Kohima – Tuophema (42 Kms / 1.5 Hrs)

Today we shall proceed to Tuophema, Visit Kohima village, Meet an old man who has a very good collection of artefacts of the WW II and hear horrific stories of the WWII that was fiercely fought at Kohima. Visit World War II cemetery and State Museum. Drive to Tuophema for overnight stay.

Day 4: Tuophema – Mokokchung (120 / 5 Hrs)

Today we shall drive further North to Mokokchung, the land of the Ao Nagas. Check into Hotel on reaching. Evening visit an Ao Naga village, you will get a rough idea of the cultural differences among different tribes.
Overnight at Hotel Metsuben or Similar.

Day 5: Mokokchung

Whole day at Mokokchung exploring Ao Naga villages. Visit Museum at Impur village, visit Mopungchuket village and Sangratsu. Evening visit Mokokchung village and Ungma.
O/N Hotel Metsuben or similar.

Day 6: Mokokchung – Jorhat

Today we shall drive to Jorhat to connect your flight for onward destination waving goodbye to the mystic hills of the Nagas.
